Super Glutathione

Super Glutathione contains S-Acetyl Glutathione (S-A-GSH), a unique form of the compound glutathione, often called the body’s “master antioxidant.” Glutathione is produced inside every cell in the human body and is most highly concentrated in hardworking organs, such as the pancreas, kidneys, and liver. It is the single most protective antioxidant produced by the body and therefore the most important, as it protects cells against oxidative stress from free radicals.

In addition to its powerful antioxidant capacity, glutathione may help support immune function and is a crucial compound for facilitating effective detoxification processes in the liver.

Why Use the S-A-GSH Form of Glutathione?

Glutathione is made up of three amino acids, making it a very small protein. As a protein, if it is consumed in its isolated state, the digestive system will break it down and it will not have the intended effect. Therefore, glutathione, itself, is not typically used in supplements. In fact, intravenous glutathione administration is the most effective delivery system for glutathione, but this is expensive and inconvenient.

S-Acetyl-Glutathione is an ideal alternative for supporting glutathione status in a simple and effective way. This unique form of glutathione is chemically altered in order to be suitable for oral ingestion. The “S-acetyl” molecule bound to glutathione protects glutathione from breaking down in the gastrointestinal tract, so it reaches the bloodstream intact. 

Super Glutathione includes vitamin B6 due to its role as a required cofactor for the body to produce glutathione.

Recommended Usage:

Take two capsules per day, or as directed by your health care practitioner.
