Reduced L-Glutathione Plus

Why choose Reduced L-Glutathione Plus?

Like oxygen, water, and nourishment, glutathione is an essential tripeptide required for life. Made primarily in your liver and found in virtually every human cell, it is the body’s master antioxidant and arguably the most potent barrier against disease, toxin, and mutation.  It is likewise a key factor in first line-of-defense immune response, rebound, and repair. Although critical glutathione levels will lower as we age, depletion can be accelerated by stress, illness, infection, poor diet, alcohol, cigarettes, trauma, and environmental toxins. This depletion can manifest itself in ways that might include impaired nutrient absorption and assimilation, gut, lung, eye, blood, skin, and brain issues, keloid scarring, mitochondrial stress for lower energy output, DNA mutation, mass oxidation, and free radical overload (1). Theranaturals Reduced L-Glutathione Plus™  is engineered for enhanced absorption and potency with ultra-purity USP-grade glutathione and sodium bicarbonate (Bioidentical, Non-GMO, Organic). Designed for nebulization, Reduced L-Glutathione Plus™  can also be used sublingually, as eyedrops, as a nasal spray, and in skin creams. Can also be taken orally for direct gut benefit. There are NO fillers, excipients, preservatives, dyes, flavors, or flow agents in this product.

What is the recommended dosage and usage?

Break the capsule open and empty the contents into a container or nebulizer cup. Add 1-3 ml (~1/2 tsp) distilled or DI water or pure saline solution. Let stand or agitate briefly until the solution is perfectly clear. It’s now ready to use.

Note: When mixed with distilled or DI water or saline solution, Reduced L-Glutathione Plus™ becomes isotonic, making it comfortably ideal for lung, nasal, and other soft tissue contact.

What are some tips?

The capsules should separate easily by gently squeezing on the larger portion and twisting. If you have trouble gripping the capsule in your fingers, a tablet cutter or straight razor can be helpful. Add powder into the nebulizer cup before liquids.

HIGH HUMIDITY LOCATION TIPS

For those of you in high humidity areas, place silica desiccant inside a bottle or bottle in a Zip-Loc bag (once opened). If placing it in the refrigerator, place the bottle inside the Zip-Loc bag with a desiccant inside the bag NOT IN THE BOTTLE. This is important to keep moisture away from the capsules and outside of the bottle. Refrigerators have higher humidity and the Desiccant can be pulled into the bottle. Reports from those doing this have been very good. No “turned” capsules for extended periods of time. If in a hot and humid location, follow refrigerator desiccant instructions.

Expiration: MFG date on the bottom of the bottle is the Manufacture Date, not expiration. Product is generally good for up to 3 years for this date if stored properly.

Sulfur Smell: Glutathione is organic. It has a characteristic sulfur or egg smell. This is normal. The product has not gone bad.

SULFITE REACTION MYTH BUSTING: There is NO free sulfur in glutathione – it is a tripeptide with a y-bonded carboxyl group. You can not be allergic to it. It is required for life and is safe to use.

Nebulizers: We do not recommend the use of heat-based vaporizers or any enhanced high-pressure nebulizers with this product – Doctors have reported mixed results such as GSH breakdown and clogging. Doctors have reported the best results using a nebulizer with a maximum pressure rating of 32psi (+/- 5) and operating pressure of ~16psi. Doctors have also reported positive results with non-heat-based mesh/ultrasonic nebulizers; however, these require special cleaning and maintenance procedures. Ask your doctor for a recommendation.

Warning: it is not recommended that you take glutathione if you are undergoing chemo or radiation therapy for cancer or any other condition. As a powerful antioxidant, glutathione can cancel out the treatments and render them ineffective. Consult with your doctor first before supplementation. In addition, it is not recommended to take Whey Protein Isolate or NAC while undergoing cancer radiation or Chemo treatments. These will increase glutathione levels in the body which can likewise render the treatments ineffective.

Warning: If you have been exposed to the black mold Stachybotrys chartarum (a toxic mold that infects the lungs) and have a lung infection suspected or diagnosed to be related, it is not recommended that you nebulize (oral is okay) with glutathione until the mold is treated by a medical professional via antifungals. The black mold appears to absorb the free glutathione very readily through its slime head and protects itself from the normal human immune response. Use extreme caution if you suspect a Stachybotrys chartarum infection and toxicity or have been diagnosed with a related Stachybotrys chartaum issue by a medical professional.

effective nebulizing

game changing life preserving using for mold exposure just getting set up with new nebulizer, currently using H2O2 also working nicely very pleasant, nebulized colloidal silver caused some coughing resolved with addition of normal saline but could be diluting results .....not sure how these work together or if they should ???

Hi Rosalie, That sounds great, yes these work well together. I would say you could do cycles of 3 weeks with 1 week off until you feel where you want to be in supporting your health.

Not sure

I am using the glutithione to nebulize. Have only nebulized once mixing with saline in nebulizer cup. Seems to take a long time to use up in the cup, at least 15min. whereas doing the hydrogen peroxide it empties quicker, not sure why. Don't know if oral glutithione is very bio available in oral form. Is it???

Hi Susan, Hydrogen peroxide has much lighter molecular weight and will nebulize quicker. There are mixed perspectives on glutathione absorption. I'd do both a oral reduced form and maybe take some NAC & Glycine.
