Phase 4B: Systemic Detox
Why choose Phase 4B?
Building on the progress made in Phase 4A, Phase 4B carries on to promote cleansing within and beyond the gut. It consists of Advanced TUDCA, BC-ATP, CT-Biotic, HM-ET Binder, and Metabolic Activator.
Advanced TUDCA is added back to this phase to continue promoting healthy liver function and bile flow, while Metabolic Activator supports hormonal balance, thyroid function, and the body’s natural ability to detoxify.
Patients/clients will continue to take BC-ATP, CT-Biotic, and HM-ET Binder to promote detoxification processes in the gut, cells, and tissues, while also encouraging cellular repair and energy production.
What is included in Phase 4B?
For those who are sensitive, it's recommended to introduce one product at a time in the order listed below. Continue taking CT-Minerals if leftover from Phase 3, until the bottle is finished.
Advanced TUDCA: Lends increased support to the liver bile duct system and promotes healthy bile flow, essential for healthy drainage and detoxification.
BC-ATP: The highly charged organic acids support metabolism and the ATP cycle in being at peak efficiency. These carbons also assist in the body’s natural detoxification processes and contribute to a balanced gut microbiome. In clinical practice, BC-ATP is generally well-tolerated by sensitive individuals and may help improve protocol tolerance.
CT-Biotic: A blend of spore-forming and non-spore-forming bacteria. It includes 11 bacterial strains that are essential for supporting detoxification, digestive function, and immunity.
HM-ET Binder: A later-stage binder, HM-ET Binder promotes the body’s natural ability to detoxify in the cells and tissues. It also offers increased support to cellular repair, energy production, immunity, and mitochondrial health, as well as helps protect against life’s everyday stressors.
Metabolic Activator: A comprehensive metabolic support liquid supplement that combines iodine with Coleus forskohlii extract, selenium, potassium iodide, riboflavin, and molybdenum.
This unique combination of key nutrients work together to provide powerful support for healthy metabolic, thyroid and mitochondrial function, as well as hormonal function, glucose metabolism, and the conversion of thyroid hormones (T4 to T3). Metabolic Activator also assists in healthy weight management and upregulating the production of cyclic AMP (cAMP).
What is the Phase 4B dosing?
FAQs:
Can the supplements in Phase 4B cause or worsen existing symptoms?
Since all of the supplements in this step support the body's natural detoxification processes, it's possible to experience mild detox symptoms, such as bloating, fatigue, constipation, headaches, or gas. This will depend on an individual's toxic load and varies from person to person.
If a patient experiences excess reactions, we recommend introducing one supplement at a time (and starting with a half dose) in the order listed on the dosing chart.
Do any of the supplements interact with medication?
Always consult a licensed healthcare practitioner when introducing a new supplement. As a general guideline, it's recommended to take all supplements at least two hours away from prescription medications.
Do the supplements have to be taken with food, or can they be taken without?
All of the other supplements in this step are recommended to take between meals for maximum potency. However, if patients are sensitive to any of the ingredients, they can take them with meals.
What's the difference between the Comprehensive Protocol and the Foundational Protocol?
The Comprehensive Protocol is an in-depth approach to supporting detoxification, intended for those who are looking to address their health at the root level and require increased immune and gut support. Completing the protocol over a prolonged period (9+ months) provides the body with sufficient time (and nutrients) to support system balance through detoxification. The Foundational Protocol is a shorter, four-month approach to supporting detoxification.
It's intended for individuals who are looking to periodically support cleansing for an overall wellness boost. It's designed to balance the gut microbiome, increase energy levels, and support digestive and immune health- but is not as extensive as the Comprehensive Protocol, which covers more specific areas of health.
Why are there two components to Phase 4 (Phase 4A and Phase 4B)?
To accommodate the appropriate timeline and dosing for Para 4, which should only be taken for a maximum of two months at a time. This is why Para 4 is included in Phase 4A for two months, and removed from Phase 4B. Both components of Phase 4 achieve the same goal, which is to promote systemic detoxification.
