What is the recommended dosage?

Normal Dosage:  1 tsp daily

Advanced Dosage:  1 tbsp – 1–2x daily

Enjoy it straight, drop it into a small glass of water, or mix it into an 8 oz. glass of juice. It can also be added to your favorite smoothie if you prefer!

Do not add to hot beverages. High temperatures can degrade the liposomes and make the supplement less effective.

When introducing a new supplement, we recommend taking the lowest dose for 2-3 days. As tolerated, increase the dose until you have reached the recommended normal or advanced guidelines. Reduce to a tolerable dosage if adverse effects occur.

This liposomal vitamin C formula is crafted inside an FDA inspected, GMP compliant lab in the USA. The product is rigorously tested and is Heavy Metal Free / Prop 65 Compliant, Gluten Free and Non-GMO.

How long does one bottle last?

Each bottle is enough for one person for 15 days at the recommended dosage.

Does this product need to be refrigerated?

Refrigeration is NOT mandatory. It is STRONGLY recommended to increase the shelf life to extend an additional 6 months. 

Is there a concern with expiration?

Potency and efficacy are not a concern with expiry. It is a flavor issue specifically. 

Does PuraTHRIVE use preservatives?

PuraTHRIVE does not use any preservatives or artificial ingredients. Longevity of the products is based on how you store them. Manufacture Dates are to help customers decipher the expiry of your supplements.

For products kept in the refrigerator, the expiry date is 18 months from the manufacture date printed on the bottle. If you decide not to put them in the fridge, the expiry will be 12 months from the printed date. 

It is safe to freeze PuraTHRIVE products to prolong their life beyond the 18 months, up to 2 years from the manufacture date. Once the bottle has been opened, the expiry date is 60 days.

This product seems to be carbonated. Is that normal?

Yes, these bottles are sealed at production, and pressure changes are usual during transit and cause what can be referred to as a hissing sound. Our formula uses Natural Fermentation using a standard, natural Carbon source (tapioca) grown on non-GMO, gluten-free yeast. 

What starch source is used in the fermentation process?

You need a starch source for the fermentation process. The starch used is from non-GMO tapioca; the process ferments the tapioca syrup into sorbitol, then to ascorbic acid, naturally. 

What does each dose contain?

Each dose contains 1000mg of ascorbic acid; the 4000mg matrix is a proprietary blend that comprises the micelle, liposomal delivery system.
