As a clinician, I see many patients that have recurrent issues with yeast infections, parasites and small intestinal bacterial overgrowth. What are Immunoglobins?

Immunoglobulins, also known as antibodies, defend the body directly by opposing and neutralizing various antigens or potentially harmful particles in the blood stream and various tissues of the body. Immunoglobins have a special ability to enable the immune system to differentiate between antigens and the body’s normal microflora.

Most antigens enter the body through mucosal tissue or stay localized on mucosal surfaces. It makes sense, then, that mucosal tissues are heavily populated with immune cells.
