Low energy, poor memory and brain fog are major problems for many individuals. Lowered cognitive function results in lowered working efficiency, relationship disputes and significantly reduced quality of life. Millions of children and adults in America today struggle with mental fatigue, learning, reading & attention challenges.

The United States has an epidemic of childhood neurodevelopmental disease such as autism, ADHD, Asperger’s and mental retardation. Much of this could be remedied if these individuals knew how to take care of their body and maximize their brain energy. A natural diet and innate lifestyle can dramatically benefit children’s brain development, boost IQ, and improve learning processes.

 Introducing BrainSuperCharge™:

As a clinician, I used to put together about 10 different supplements in order to create the nutritional blend we find in Brain SuperCharge™ This product is an exciting breakthrough in the natural health world for optimal brain health and cognitive acceleration so you can live at your highest level.

The Brain SuperCharge™ formulation represents more than 30 years of neuroscience research. As a key component of a complete program to support optimal brain function, Brain SuperCharge™ improves mitochondrial energy production and provides generous antioxidant support to combat the damaging effects of free radicals in the brain.*

Here are the Key Ingredients:

There are also unique supplemental compounds that can dramatically benefit brain development and regeneration to improve our quality of life. This product is a tremendous source of nutrients that research has shown are extremely supportive to brain health and neuronal regeneration.

CoEnzyme Q10:

Coenzyme Q10 is an anti-oxidant enzyme within the mitochondria. This anti-oxidant regenerates other antioxidants such as vitamin E. Its major role is helping the mitochondria harvest energy producing adenosine triphosphate (ATP) from the foods we eat. More than 75% of our energy is produced through the use of CoQ10 (1).

Cancer patients have been found to have low CoQ10 levels. This limits their ability to prevent against oxidative stress targeted at their DNA which leads to altered cellular function and abnormal cell development. CoQ10 supplementation has also been shown to be effective at slowing cancer growth and preventing its development (2, 3, 4).

CoQ10 has also been shown to improve brain health and reduce the severity and frequency of migraine headaches. Additionally, low CoQ10 is linked to degenerative neurological diseases such as Alzheimer’s, dementia and Parkinson’s. Supplemental coQ10 has been shown to strengthen the neuronal cell mitochondria and be a potent defense against neurological degeneration (5, 6,7).

N-Acetyl L Cysteine: (NAC)

This is a precursor to glutathione which is the body’s primary anti-oxidant that neutralizes free radicals and detoxifies harmful substances. A powerful anti-oxidant found within every cell in your body, glutathione has many key functions. One of glutathione’s most important roles is to defend the cell against wastes and toxins (8).

NAC has been shown to improve blood flow and blood vessel integrity in individuals with hyperglycemia (9). It has also been shown to improve insulin sensitivity and create more stable post meal blood sugar responses (10). NAC supplementation has additionally been able to reduce oxidative stress and the negative effects of glycation in the body (11).

Alpha Lipoic Acid: (ALA)

This is a unique and powerful anti-oxidant that has both water and fat soluble properties. This unique characteristic allows it to be absorbed and transported into many organs and systems such as the brain, liver and nerves.

Lipoic acid is able to regenerate vitamins C and E and other major anti-oxidants such as glutathione and CoQ10. Lipoic acid protects the mitochondria, the energy producing factories of cells, from being damaged by oxidative stress so they can produce energy more efficiently (12).

There is overwhelming evidence that ALA is critical for maintaining insulin sensitivity, optimal blood sugar levels and blood vessel integrity. This is important for metabolic syndrome, diabetes, healthy blood pressure and cardiovascular health (13, 14).

Carnitine:

This nutrient is critical for fat metabolism and energy production in the cellular mitochondria Carnitine is naturally produced in the liver and kidneys. It is used in its most concentrated in the heart and skeletal muscles where it plays an important role in energy production and detoxification. It is also found in the brain and male sperm cells (15).

L-carnitine is the bioactive form and a conditionally essential nutrient. Under normal conditions our bodies produce enough. However, certain conditions such as digestive stress, mental/emotional stress & medication usage can reduce production making this an essential dietary nutrient (16).

Carnitine helps muscle cells drive energy efficiently from fat metabolism. Up to 70% of the energy produced by muscle cells (including the heart) come from burning fats. Carnitine is the gate-keeper that allows fatty acids to pass into the mitochondrial furnace effectively (17).

Folate:

B9 – Bioactive forms include folinic acid, calcium folinate and methyl-folate

Synthetic folic acid supplements are not natural forms and can be very toxic for certain individuals. Folinic acid is the natural form found in foods. Folate deficiency is believed to be the most common vitamin deficiency in the world due to food processing, food selection, genetic polymorphisms (MTHFR) and intestinal disorders. Folinic acid in the body can be converted into any of the other active forms of folate.

B12 as Methyl-Cobalamin:

Methyl-Cobalamin is the most bioactive form of B12 that the body needs. This is essential for recycling homocysteine and the formation of methyl donors involved in cardiovascular function, sleep, blood cell formation, and nerve function.

Most vitamin B12 supplements contain cyanocobalamin; however, the liver must first “detoxify” the cyanide molecule and attach a methyl group to form methylcobalamin from the cyanocobalamin. Methylcobalamin is already in the biologically active, tissue-ready form.* Human urinary excretion of methylcobalamin is about one-third that of a similar dose of cyanocobalamin, indicating substantially greater tissue retention.

HypoAllergenic Protein:

This uses a blend of hypoallergenic protein powders such as pea and brown rice. These are easy on the digestive system and very tolerable by most individuals with challenging food sensitivities. This combination of brown rice and pea protein has a great blend of branched chain amino acids, lysine and arginine for lean body tissue development and good circulation.
Naturally Flavored:
This is flavored by a small amount of organic cane sugar and the sugarless herb stevia. Of course, there are zero artificial sweeteners in this.

Why I Like This Product:

This is basically a super-high quality multi-vitamin, powerful anti-oxidant and hypoallergic protein powder all in one. It acts to boost mitochondrial function to enhance brain function and energy levels.

This is a combination of many different supplements all in one. Drinking nutrients in a tasty protein shake is preferable over swallowing pills. It is also easier to give to children and to elderly who have trouble swallowing pills.
